 WELCOA\’s Seven Benchmarks

The Return on Investment (ROI) in wellness programs at corporation are both tangible and intangible, yielding measurable results.  The company – \”Johnson & Johnson has reported savings of $600 per employee after offering its employees financial incentives to complete health profiles, and increase their understanding of how lifestyle factors affect their health and encourage their participation in weight loss and maintenance programs.\”  These programs have become critical in helping to fight against chronic disease.  Analysis of healthcare data for the United States (U.S.) indicates that 80 cents of every health care dollar spent is for chronic diseases.  Therefore, maintaining a healthy workforce should be a strategic goal of all U.S. companies, becoming an integral part of its culture.  A healthy workforce is a productive workforce, and companies that invest in its employee\’s wellness, demonstrating it values its\’ employees, builds employee trust and loyalty.

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 1/2 pounds sliced zucchini

  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 1/2 pounds Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
